“impala” comes from the Zulu language meaning “gazelle”. The impala is mainly found in southern Africa.
The common impala is next to the Springbok one of the most abundant antelopes in Africa. Impala are known for their great leaping ability, reaching heights up to 3 m (9.8 ft).
