Real Impala cushion. Size 40 x 40 cm.
Impala (Aepyceros melampus) is a medium-sized African antelope. The coat is a glossy reddish brown. The red hue fades away towards the animal’s sides and the underside is white. There are black stripes on the forehead, rump and tail.
“impala” comes from the Zulu language meaning “gazelle”. The impala is mainly found in southern Africa.
The common impala is next to the Springbok one of the most abundant antelopes in Africa. Impala are known for their great leaping ability, reaching heights up to 3 m (9.8 ft).
